Newspaper Gets Reaction From Vancouver 2010 On BidIndex

The Vancouver-based The Province reports that GamesBids.com’s BidIndex now has Vancouver in third place in the race for the 2010 Winter Olympic bid, with Salzburg in first place and Berne second.

Vancouver 2010 spokesperson Michele Penz reacted to the news by telling the newspaper, “…our concern will be what the IOC thinks of us. We will have that decision on July 2, 2003. That’s the poll we want to be at the top of”.

But the newspaper says that Pyeongchang will take the fourth spot while BidIndex has Jaca in the fourth position.
